We need your help! Carter Historic Farm seeks to bring the farm experience into classrooms across the county and seeks input from kids like you! Participants will take part in a history lesson designed for a classroom. This lesson consists of a presentation, historical objects and an activity from the time of the Great Depression. Participants will then complete a survey about their experience. This program is designed for children 6 to 10 years old.

Want to get started in outdoor climbing? This 6 hour workshop invites anyone interested in learning to climb through various aspects of the sport. monthly mindfulness

Give yourself permission to escape to reconnect and relax. Join naturalist and meditation teacher Emma Taylor for a monthly nature-based mindfulness session at a local Wood County park. Stop by for a monthly nature journaling meeting. Join local Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists and develop your nature journaling skills. Summer Yoga at WW Knight Nature Preserve

Wednesdays from June to July; 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

WW Knight Nature Preserve, 29530 White Road, Perrysburg

Join Glory Meyer this summer for an all-levels yoga practice in the serene and peaceful nature reserve of WW Knight! This practice will be a combination of standing poses and poses on the mat. Modifications to level the practice up or down will be provided so that everyone experiences the unique level of practice needed for their body. No yoga experience is necessary; both beginners and experienced yogis are welcome! In March, Glory received the Best of Toledo Best Yoga Instructor 2021 award. 9-week program fee: $50.
