Alright, so we’ll just come out and say it. Bath & Body Works can be a little guilty pleasure for us. We love the scents and, even more, the crazy little seasonal decor they have.
So the good news is that Bath & Body Works isn’t just counting down to drop, they’re already sipping apple cider, and even though it’s not even October yet, you can already run around and buy items from their Halloween collection. !
Sure, there’s a good chance some items will sell out again, like that oh-so-popular witch’s hand candle holder from last year, but the good news is you don’t necessarily have to wait for it to sell out. restocks when you can just fool around and do it yourself!

Like many of us, Chontelle Phillips loves B&B Halloween decor, and she had a special love for that spooky candle holder from last year, and even though it came back, Chontelle thought why not not make a better one? Instead, this crafty woman decided to make her own using only supplies she bought from her local target’s dollar bin.
She starts with a skeleton hand base that only costs five bucks, then rips the hand off the base because she has “blueprints.” A glass candle holder is used to create the new base and give height to the hand, so it ends up superimposing the skeleton hand on top of the stand.
Next, Chontelle adds a few scraps of lace, then crushed red velvet to create the “sleeve” look that the original piece had. Finally, a black base, now spray painted a beautiful gold, is added at the very bottom and the whole thing is finally done. We see a final version and, honestly, we rather prefer it to the original!
