Dubai’s must-visit Irish pub is coming to The Palm, but not as you know it. Designed with an industrial flair, Factory Bar + Kitchen is a new iteration from McGettigans that has a bit of an elevated feel. You can always expect a host of pub classics, as well as sharing platters and small plates. Live sports, live music and a regular rotation of DJs are sure to keep guests entertained. Factory Bar + Kitchen will open within the Hilton Palm Jumeirah, alongside Barfly by Buddha Bar, a new Trader Vic’s and another Claw BBQ outpost.

Claw barbecue, Le Pavillon
The final piece of the Pavilion at the Beach puzzle is Claw BBQ, which will open in September on JBR’s beachfront. The dive bar and crab shack have migrated from their original home in Souk Al Bahar to join a range of licensed restaurants within the Pavilion, which already includes La Mezcaleria, Eataly at the Beach and Hurricane Grill. On the menu, expect the classic surf and turf fare you know and love from the original, alongside oversized cocktails and plenty of live music.

The park
The Park is a new concept presented by Tom Arnel, owner of Tom & Serg. The EatX concept is expected to span three floors with a rooftop terrace. The family venue will have a food store as well as an Australian-influenced market cafe and plenty of space for the little ones to play. It should open its doors in the coming months.

Kyma
The new Kyma Beach Club is set to open next month and is expected to be a Greek-inspired paradise when it washes up on the shores of Palm West Beach. While we haven’t seen what the venue will look like yet, we do know that the space will be part restaurant and part beach club. So you can expect to enjoy sunny days by the beach and then indulge in long lazy lunches with your toes in the sand.

Peaches & Cream
Peaches & Cream is set to open soon in Dubai, on the popular Palm Jumeirah. Located in the Shoreline 1 building, the retro-themed beach club will be as colorful as it is cool. Inspired by 1980s Miami, Peaches & Cream will feature a lively beach club and stylish lounge, complete with a 3,000 square foot beach, large pool and soft-hued lounge chairs. A large outdoor bar will take center stage, with boho swings for guests to sit and enjoy a refreshing cocktail.

The nice boy
LA celebrity hangout, The Nice Guy, will open in the Emirates Towers in the coming months. A first look inside the restaurant indicates it will look and feel similar to the LA original, with kitschy, eclectic decor and a decadent, cozy feel. The menu is not tied to a certain theme, although there seems to be a strong Italian influence on the LA restaurant menu: lobster pizza, spaghetti pomodoro and a cacio e pepe are all present.

Josette
When we think of Italian restaurants in Dubai, we often think directly of Il Borro Tuscan Bistro and Alici, brought to us by Orange Hospitality. The group returns with a brand new concept, this time in the direction of France. Promising a glamorous Parisian experience, the new restaurant, Josette, will open in DIFC’s ICD Brookfield Place, which is also home to The Arts Club.

Green Beach
There’s a brand new beach club washing up on Dubai’s sandy beaches – and this one has a trendy French twist. Verde Beach, already established in stylish St Tropez, is set to open this Jumeirah Beach hotel in October. If the name sounds familiar, Verde Beach is the sister brand to trendy French restaurant Verde, which opened in the Four Seasons Restaurant Village in December 2019. Part beach club, part restaurant, the menu will be overseen by the chef executive Julien Lee Thibault. We can expect an array of Mediterranean hits that will please everyone, from light tartars to sharing plates. It is designed as the perfect match for a day at the beach.

Loren
Throwback in style to the Italian Riviera of the 1960s and 1970s at Loren. The restaurant will be located above the SĀN Beach Club, which has yet to open, in front of SEVEN Palm on West Beach. Scheduled to open later this year, the venue will serve fine Italian-style coastal cuisine and a very chic setting.

Word 32
If you love rooftop dining in Dubai, there’s a new restaurant you need to know about. On the 73rd floor of the Address Beach Resort, the beautiful Mott 32 – an upscale Chinese restaurant hailing from Hong Kong – will open later this year. In addition to seating in the indoor restaurant, Mott 32 will have an outdoor terrace where diners can soak up the stunning views of JBR, Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters. Early renderings of the place show lots of brass and metal elements, with hues of emerald green, leafy plants, and touches of peach breaking up a mechanical-looking space.

Rasputin
Famous French restaurant and nightclub Raspoutine is set to open in Dubai later this year, and we can’t wait. An institution on the Parisian nightlife circuit for more than 50 years, Raspoutine will open its fourth global address at the DIFC in Dubai. While the Parisian venue is a sought-after party hotspot, expect more of a dinner-and-show vibe from the Dubai iteration, similar to Rasputin Miami, which opened earlier this year. .

In Fuego
Joining the likes of Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen, Seafire Steakhouse, Nobu and Wavehouse at Atlantis, The Palm is En Fuego, which will add South American cuisine to the mix. And to believe the first renderings, a feast for the eyes and the taste buds is announced. Scheduled to open in November, En Fuego is expected to be a high-octane, entertainment-focused social dining concept. The menu promises to be just as colourful, with Daniel García, a chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu, at the helm of the stoves. Showcasing a collection of the best dishes and flavors from Latin America, diners on the En Fuego menu can expect to be taken on a culinary flight from the streets of Rio De Janeiro to the mountains of Peru.

Babylon
Described as a “hedonistic playground” part chic restaurant, part energetic club, Babylon will replace Gaucho at the DIFC later this year. While we don’t yet know what it will look like, we have high expectations: it comes from Addmind, the brand behind the Sucre and Clap restaurants, as well as the White Dubai superclub.
Babylon, Gate Village, DIFC. @babylondifc
Dinner by Heston
We are very excited about the highly anticipated arrival of Atlantis The Royal for many reasons, but Dinner by Heston is among the best. The third outpost of the critically acclaimed chef’s solid culinary concept – which currently only exists in London and Melbourne – will open later this year. When it does, you can try one of celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal’s most iconic dishes, meaty fruit: it looks like a tangerine but is actually made from chicken liver parfait.

above eleven
A Bangkok institution since 2012, Above Eleven serves up a menu of fine Peruvian-Japanese fusion flavors, colorful cocktails and a wide range of live tunes from salsa parties to a live DJ rotation – and it’s landing at the Palm Jumeirah this year. The industrial-chic interior comes with exposed brickwork and large windows that will make the most of the stunning skyline views. Towering trees, dim lighting, and pops of teal and ruby are sure to pack Above Eleven with Instagrammable moments. The website also promises key features such as a garden maze at the entrance as well as a large outdoor terrace, so we think this might just be our new favorite sunset spot during the winter months.
