Dual Wildlife Support
The Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Center aims to raise $20,000 by June 30. Donations made this month will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000 by Cypher Environmental. To help achieve this goal, Wildlife Haven and Cypher Environmental are hosting a new fundraiser.
From June 20-26, 2022, Wildlife Haven invites Manitobans to participate in the new Summer Fun for Wildlife online auction, presented by Cypher Environmental. Tickets to Winnipeg Blue Bombers games to a premium Yeti cooler, kayak, garden games, Wildlife Haven merchandise, tickets to Winnipeg attractions and original artwork from Wildlife Haven Ambassadors – there is something for all tastes, budgets and interests.
To receive auction notifications and updates, participants are encouraged to register today at wildlifehaven.ca/summerauction.
The $20,000 goal will be used to provide medical care and hand-raise orphaned baby songbirds, owls, cubs, rabbits and more. Please help Wildlife Haven raise vital funds by attending this event or by donating directly through their website at Wildlifehaven.ca/donate, by sponsoring a patient, or by purchasing an item from the Wildlife Haven online store. Every dollar raised this month will be generously matched by Cypher Environmental up to $10,000.

The Women’s Endowment Fund grantmaking process has adapted to dramatic changes in community needs and operational requirements over the past two years and will continue to respond to changes in the future. What has not changed is the mandate to provide a growing endowment that continues to support initiatives that uplift and help Manitoba women from all ethnic, cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.

PRIZE DINNER SEPT. 29
After going live for 2020 and 2021, the University of Winnipeg and the University of Winnipeg Foundation are pleased to announce that the Duff Roblin Awards Dinner will be held in person on September 29 at the RBC Convention Center Winnipeg .
Having taken place in one form or another since 2007, this highly anticipated event has seen a host of incredible Manitobans recognized for their inspiring work – each recipient following the example of our first recipient, former Premier Duff Roblin. A dedicated public servant and advocate for education, Duff Roblin worked tirelessly to improve the lives of his fellow Manitobans. Honoring his legacy by highlighting the individual accomplishments made in the service of this province by those who came after him is what makes this evening so special.
This year’s recipient of the award is Dr. Lloyd Axworthy.
Proceeds from the 2022 Duff Roblin Awards Dinner will be donated to the Duff Roblin Scholars Fund, the Wii Chiiwaakanak Learning Center and the Opportunity Fund.
