The semester is now three weeks old and you may still be settling in and finding your place. This is a common step for most Huskers, so you’re not alone. Soon the first set of exams and projects will be here.

To prepare for this time ahead, pay attention to your self-care and personal well-being. Here are seven on-campus activities that will help you relax and refocus your energy.

Develop your identity

September 14 | 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. | Nebraska Union, Regency Suite

Mindfully set goals and intentions for the semester with guidance from the Women’s Center staff. While supplies last, also enjoy free plants and crafts!

For two hours each at the City and East campuses, students, staff and faculty can enjoy the relaxed, happy company of a variety of furry 4-legged companions from Uplifting Paws Therapy Dogs.

Can’t attend? This is a new monthly activity at UNL, so you can expect to catch the dogs again when they return to campus in October and every month after.
