The festival gives arts, crafts and food vendors the opportunity to display and sell their wares in the city park.
“We run buggy rides as well as hay rides in the Confluence area,” said Sherman Gary, director of the Confluence Volunteer Fire Department. Pickup and drop off will be at the community park.
Shuttle pickup and drop-off will be at both Turkeyfoot Valley School and Ursina American Legion.
“Parking is scarce in Confluence,” Gary said, so he recommends taking the shuttle. He said it works continuously. “The free admission to everything and the free shuttle service are appreciated by people who come.”
He said a fun activity is the performance of Roof Garden Tractor Buddies in front of Beggs Printing. Gary also mentions the 31st Annual Classic Car Show with DJ Johnny Be Good on Baxter Street.
“When the weather is nice, we get a nice influx of cars,” he said.

“It’s usually a nice parade,” Gary said.
Gary has been involved with PumpkinFest since its inception. He says he has always been part of the planning committee.
“We appreciate it,” he said.
