This week’s edition of Go+Do features fun events for the whole family. Cheer on the Colorado Eagles as they kick off their first home game of the season, sample beer from NoCo Breweries at Poudre Pour or support Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the Human Bean.

Saturday October 15
1. The 5th annual Poudre Pour is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Windsor History Museum, 100 N. 5th St. The event features an afternoon of beer tastings from more than a dozen breweries around the northern Colorado, live music, food trucks and activities for the whole family. The event celebrates the heritage and history of the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area. Admission is $49.37 for adults 21+ who want to sample beer, $12.24 general admission (no beer sampling) for adults 18+ and children 17 and under are free. 2. Meet at Harrington’s HAAunted 12th House of Horrors from 6-11pm. at The Promenade Shops at Centerra, 5957 Sky Pond Drive in Loveland for pre-Halloween fun. Voted Best Haunted House in Loveland, the event features artists, set designers and more from the Harrington Arts Alliance. Tickets are $18 for guests 12 and older and $12 for children 11 and under. 3. The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra performs Tales of Italian Triumphs at 7 p.m. at the Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave., Greeley. The concert will take viewers on a musical journey across boot-shaped country and culminate in a surprise ending. Admission is $39 per person for A seats and $27 per person for B seats. 4. The Rollerdome is hosting a Double Halloween Double Header Roller Derby at 5 p.m. at 2375 S. Delaware St., Denver. Come in costume and watch the juniors and an open mixed match. 5. Join Left Hand Brewing Company for Movie in the Garden: Scream at 7:15 p.m. at 1265 Boston Ave. at Longmont. 8. Comedian Kevin Hart brings his Reality Check tour to Denver at 7 p.m. at the Ball Arena, 1000 Chopper Circle. The popular stand-up comedian has starred in a variety of television specials and movies, including “Ride Along 2” and the new “Jumanji” movies. Tickets range from $127 per person to $2,310 per person, depending on seat selection. The show is aimed at adults 18 and older. 9. Bumpin Uglies with Kyle Smith will perform live at 7:30 p.m. at the Moxi Theater, 802 9th St. in Greeley. The band started ten years ago, playing for friends and taking any gigs that came their way, and grew in popularity. Their most recent release, “Slow Burn” featuring SOJA’s Jacob Hemphill caught fire with fans, earning them a spot on Pandora’s Top Thumb Hundred within the first week of its release. 10. Want to learn more about volunteer leadership positions, but don’t know where to start? Then, check out the Northern Colorado Young Professionals Board and Volunteer Matching event at 5:30 p.m. at the Island Grove Events Center, 425 N. 15th Ave., Greeley. The event, open to nonprofits seeking volunteers and community members seeking volunteer opportunities, will include a networking session, board and volunteer training, a questions and answers and a board matching exercise. Wednesday October 19
11. Celebrate midweek with live music from Dave Beegle at 5:30 p.m. at the Sweet Heart Winery and Event Center, 5500 W. Highway 34 in Loveland. Thursday, October 20
12. Grab your broom and dust off your hat for Witches Night Out at 5 p.m., hosted by Sugar Mill Antiques and Vintage Depot, 13788 Pacific Circle in Mead. The event will include festive food and drink, activities, a cartoonist, tarot readings, photo ops and more. A gift card will be awarded to the best dressed witch. A percentage of all sales will be donated to a local women’s charity. All ages are welcome and there is no admission fee. 13. Get a jump on your barbecue skills by attending the Brisket Basics class at 6 p.m. at Stoake-D-Fire Barbecue Supply, 5971 Sky Pond Drive, Suite C-100, Loveland. The course will teach beginners how to smoke brisket as well as tips and tricks on seasoning, cutting, different types of smokers and more. 14. The Latino Coalition of Weld County is hosting a forum on Latino issues at 6 p.m. at the Longs Peak Ballroom at the University of Northern Colorado, 501 20th St., Greeley. The forum will feature appearances from a variety of contestants, including Mary Young, Jennifer Parenti, Barbara Kirkmeyer, Yadira Caraveo and others, giving their responses to Latino issues regarding our community. Friday October 21
15. The Human Bean is hosting its annual Coffee for a Cure fundraising event starting at 6 a.m. at all Northern Colorado locations. One hundred percent of all food and beverage sales will be donated to local organizations to help support preventative care, education and more for patients undergoing breast cancer treatment. 18. Twilight visitations of Lakeview Cemetery are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at 32815 Route 257 in Severance. Tours will feature a costumed guide who will take guests around the cemetery to uncover the unusual and incredible stories of Windsor’s early pioneers who are buried in the cemetery.
