Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Jin Hee Kim has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner. Kim, formerly a partner at Allen & Overy LLP, will continue her diversified practice in finance.

About Jin Hee Kim
Kim has a broad and diverse finance practice, which includes both debt-side and lender/arranger-side financings, with a focus on syndicated and direct loan acquisition financing. In her borrower-side practice, she regularly represents private companies/portfolio sponsors and public corporate borrowers. She has experience in alternative finance, including direct lending, preferred equity investments and leveraged co-investments. In addition, she has in-depth knowledge of Article 9 UCC and inter-creditor issues, including cross-border inter-creditor issues.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Kim was a partner at Allen & Overy LLP. Previously, she was an attorney at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where she began her career. Previously, she also served as legal counsel at Building Materials Corporation of America (n/k/a Standard Industries) and International Specialty Products.
Kim got her JD cum laude from Carey Law School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2004, where she was University of Pennsylvania Law Journal publisher and member of the Order of the Coiffe. She also earned a certificate in business and public policy from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
